Schedule it
On the listing, open the Open house card and set the date, start and end time, and time zone (up to 12 hours). Your listing page then shows a banner with the time and Add to calendar links.
If buyers follow the home, you can email them about it. Moving it later sends a new time email (with the old time crossed out), and cancelling sends a cancelled email, with your reason if you give one, to followers who heard about it.
Sign visitors in
The sign-in page replaces the paper sheet. Two ways to use it:
- Print the poster from the Open house card and put it by the door. Visitors scan the QR code and sign in on their own phones.
- Use a tablet at the door. Open the sign-in page; after each visitor it shows a welcome and resets for the next one after a few seconds.
Visitors give their name and email, and optionally their phone, whether they're working with an agent, whether they're pre-approved for a mortgage, when they hope to buy, and a note for you.
No Wi-Fi? Keep going
If the connection drops, sign-ins are saved on the tablet and sent automatically when it's back. A banner shows how many are waiting. They're sent with the time each visitor actually signed in.
Open the sign-in page once while you're online before the open house, so it also opens if the tablet reloads without Wi-Fi.
After the open house
- Each visitor is a lead via Open house, with their answers, and you got an email (and an alert) for each.
- Each visitor got a thank-you email with a link back to the home.
- Automatic follow-ups go out on days 1, 3 and 7 unless you reply first: see Follow-up and alerts.
- Sign-ins are counted in your listing's stats and seller report.
Cancelling
Cancel it on the Open house card takes it off your listing page straight away. If you emailed followers about it, you can tell them it's cancelled.
Sold or unpublished listings can't have open houses; the sign-in page stops working.
